What to Bring for Fishing:
  • Fishing Rods and tackle
  • Groceries for the housekeeping
  • Sun Tan Lotion (SPF 15 or better)
  • Bug Spray (11% DEET or better)
  • Rain gear & waterproof footwear
  • Clothing for any temperature (hot or cold)
  • Sun glasses
  • Toiletries ( shampoo, tooth brush etc..)
  • Personal medications
  • Camera
  • Flashlight (Waterproof is best)
  • Cooler
  • Matches / lighters
  • Fillet knife
  • First aid kit
  • Garbage bags
  • Ziploc bags
  • Duct tape always comes in handy
  • Life jacket if you prefer your own (coast guard approved - seat cushions are no substitute for life jackets) >p> *Licences are no longer available at the lodge and must be purchased online or on your way in Fort Frances*

    Please note: If you bring your own boat there are some required safety items that need to be in your boat at all times - Anchor, paddles, bailing tin, 35 feet of rope with a floatation device attached, a signaling device such as a whistle or air horn and a waterproof flashlight.
